GSAM funds enter UK IMA sectors

Goldman Sachs Asset Management has announced that 47 of its Luxembourg domiciled Sicav Ucits are now within UK Investment Management Association sectors.

The funds will be present in 12 IMA sectors, including 20 funds in global equity and fixed income categories, and 10 specialist funds.

Nick Phillips (pictured), GSAM head of Third-Party Distribution for EMEA and Asia ex Japan said: “We are delighted to make our funds more visible in the UK market. Our funds have been registered in the UK for a number of years and meeting our clients’ demand for ease of comparison with UK funds is essential. More and more investors are looking for superior client solutions rather than distinguishing between mutual funds based on their domicile. We have a full range of products to offer the UK market and based on client feedback to date, we look forward to working more extensively with UK investors.”
