Ignis ‘committed’ to UK, Europe as sales director Polin leaves
Ignis Asset Management’s sales and marketing director Jonathan Polin is leaving the business at the end of July to pursue other interests.
Chief executive Chris Samuel will take over the group’s sales and marketing activity until a replacement is found.
The group said it is committed to growing and developing its retail and institutional propositions in the UK and Europe.
Samuel said: “Polin has successfully led our sales and marketing efforts over the last seven years through a period of considerable change. He has achieved significant growth in sales and in the recognition of the Ignis brand over this period, progress that Ignis is committed to building on in all our existing markets.”
Polin (pictured left) added: “I have had a fantastic seven years at Ignis, helping steer our business through three brands and four owners. During my time at Ignis the firm has broken new ground, launching four joint-venture businesses and built a strong retail presence, a European business, and won institutional mandates in the US.
“Throughout that time my greatest pleasure has been to work with truly exceptional and dedicated people. The focus of the Ignis business is now re-aligning and it is the right time for me to do something new.”
