Jupiter launches multi-asset ecology fund

Jupiter has announced the launch of a new ecology fund, investing in fixed income and stocks.

The new Jupiter Global Ecology Sicav fund will be managed by Charlie Thomas, Abbie Llewellyn-Waters and Rhys Petheram and is a sub-fund of the Jupiter Global Fund Sicav.

The funds’ portfolio will consist of approximately 60% fixed income, including bonds, labelled green bonds and convertibles managed by bond fund manager Rhys Petheram and 40% equities, co-managed by Charlie Thomas and Abbie Llewellyn-Waters, who are part of Jupiter’s sustainable investing team.

Charlie Thomas comments on the launch: “The sustainable investment sector is becoming increasingly mature across asset classes, we believe we can apply our expertise in a way that will resonate with clients in delivering a diversified, lower-volatility and income-generating approach to a compelling global growth theme.”
