LGIM appoints chief financial officer

Legal & General Investment Management has announced the appointment of Richard Lee as chief financial officer, replacing Siobhan Boylan, who announced in August that she was leaving LGIM to join Brewin Dolphin as finance director.

Lee will work with Boyland for the coming few months as part of the handover process. The appointment is subject to regulatory approval, but assuming this is forthcoming, Lee will report to Mark Zinkula, CEO of LGIM.

Lee’s most recent role was as group performance director for Legal & General Group, where he was responsible for performance across the retirement, insurance, investment management and capital divisions of the group. He has held several roles since joining the group in 1997, including that of chief financial officer and chief risk officer in L&G Retirement.

Michael Rallings, currently group capital director, will replace Lee in the role of group performance director.
