LV = Europe ex-UK fund removed from ratings service

LVAM has had its Europe ex-UK fund removed from the OBSR Fund Ratings Service, following the departures of co-managers Mark Page and Laurent Millet.

Page was responsible for the launch of the fund, which opened to the retail market in October 2007.

LVAM is now looking to make additional hires to its European team, since Page and Millet left for another firm.

In the interim, the fund is being managed by Richard Falle, with the support of LVAM Chief Investment Officer Piers Hillier.

Previously, the fund held an A rating from the mutual funds investment research firm, owned by Morningstar.

OBSR said it will meet with Falle and the new team in due course, pointing to a reassessment of the fund’s rating.

Last week, on Wednesday 20 April, OSBR also pulled ING IM’s Invest Global Opportunities fund from its Global Fund Ratings Service. The decision followed the departures of Tycho van Wijk and Tjeert Keizer for Lazard Asset Management.
