Parry first woman on Duncan Lawrie’s board
Duncan Lawrie Private Bank has appointed Jane Parry as head of marketing and new business development, giving her a seat on the board. She is the first woman to be given the role.
Parry (pictured) joined the bank a year ago and she is responsible for determining and delivering the bank’s marketing and business development strategy, brand positioning and priority marketing channels.
She has previously worked for Skandia International and Barclays.
“I take pride in being the first woman on the UK board at Duncan Lawrie Private Bank. I am a supporter of the drive for more women to be recognised at a senior level in financial services and on boards across all industries. I am really looking forward to the challenges ahead,” she said.
Matthew Parden, managing director at the bank, added that the bank aims to grow the business, doubling the number of depositors over the next five years.
“Jane plays a key role in marketing the business and her promotion to the board is well deserved,” he said.
