Pioneer Investments names institutional sales director

Pioneer Investments has announced the addition that Dean Heaney (pictured) has been named Institutional Sales director.

Based in London, Heaney will be responsible for developing Pioneer Investments’ growing Institutional business in the UK.

He will report to Jonathan May, head of UK Institutional Business Development.

With over 10 years industry experience, he joins Pioneer Investments from Royal London Asset Management where he was responsible for Institutional Business Development.

Heaney previously held a similar position at Diawa SB Investments.  Prior to that, he spent four years at Fidelity in London where he held several key institutional sales and marketing roles.

As one of the UK’s strongest direct sales people, we consider his decision to come on board as endorsement of the exceptional progress that our institutional business has made in a relatively short time.
