Quantum Advisory appoints two new partners

Actuarial and benefits consultancy firm Quantum Advisory has announced it has appointed Joanne Eynon and Phil Farrell as partners.

This announcement follows a series of senior appointments made by Quantum over the last year and brings the number of Partners to eight, spread across Quantum’s four UK offices.

Joanne Eynon joined Quantum in August 2007 as a principal consultant and actuary and has over twenty years’ pensions experience advising both public sector and private sector organisations.

At Quantum, she has been influential in enhancing the firm’s consultancy and actuarial offering to clients, most notably at the small to medium sized scheme level in which Quantum has particular expertise. Eynon qualified as a Fellow of the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries in 2000 and has held a Scheme Actuary practising certificate for more than ten years.

Phil Farrell joined the firm in October 2010 also as a principal consultant and is based in the firm’s London office. Within his role he is responsible for delivering strategic consultancy advice to trust-based and contract-based clients, as well as overseeing the delivery of administration services to Quantum’s London based clients.

Farrell is also actively involved in the research and development of the firm’s defined contribution offering, the firm said. He is an associate of the Pensions Management Institute and holds the Certificate in Financial Planning.

Karen Kendall, partner at Quantum Advisory said:  “Both Phil and Joanne have extensive experience within the pensions industry and have played prominent roles in the development of our tailored service offering. Their appointments represent the continued growth and strength of Quantum and our commitment to providing clients with quality advice and a bespoke consultancy service.”
