Specialist actuarial and benefits consultancy firm Quantum Advisory has appointed Darren Wateridge as senior consultant and actuary.
Wateridge joined Quantum’s London office on 28 August and brings over 15 years’ experience in the corporate pensions market. Within his role, he will work to further enhance Quantum’s consultancy and actuarial offering to clients, particularly at the small-medium sized scheme level where it has particular expertise, Quantum said.

Prior to this, he has also held positions at Buck Consultants and Aon Hewitt.
Wateridge is the latest in a series of appointments made by Quantum, following the appointment of Deon Dreyer earlier this year, with further growth expected in the coming months. Throughout his career Darren has gained extensive experience working with trustees and companies on a wide range of issues including, scheme funding, benefit changes and de-risking strategies.
Rhidian Williams, partner at Quantum Advisory said: “We are delighted to welcome Darren to the firm. His arrival strengthens our existing senior consulting actuary capabilities and brings a wealth of experience in the DB funding and de-risking solutions based approach which will further enhance the tailored advisory service that we provide to our clients”
