RBC appoints head of distribution British sales

RBC Wealth Management (RBC), which is part of the Royal Bank of Canada has appointed Anthony Johnson as head of distribution in charge of British sales as of March 2015.

Based in London, Johnson will be responsible for leading RBC’s international pricate client distribution teams, including relationship management in the UK and Channel islands-based trust teams.  He reports to Stuart Rutledge, CEO of RBC Wealth Management – International.

Johnson joins the team from RBC Investor & Treasury services where he most recently worked as Global Head, Sales & Distribution responsible for directing sales, relationship and strategic client management efforts across the globe for the business.

Commenting on the appointment, Stuart Rutledge said: “The British Isles is an important market for RBC Wealth Management and with Tony at its helm our outstanding team of UK and Channel Islands-based relationship managers is destined for even greater success.”
