Real estate company to “offer investor assurance”
A new company established to promote a residential and commercial property fund has received FSA approval, which it says will offer assurance to investors
Horizon Properties Capital Limited has received FSA approval to promote the British Property Opportunities Fund to UK and institutional investors.
Fund manager Horizon Asset Management launched the company to assure investors that its methods will meet regulatory standards, in response to reports of unregulated collective investment schemes operating in the UK.
The British Property Opportunities Fund invests in commercial and residential property. Investments will include distressed portfolios, high yield rental units, development opportunities, leasebacks and reversionary gains schemes.
The fund is open-ended and domiciled in the Cayman Islands.
Minimum investment is £50,000.
