Reshuffle at OMGI’s corporate bond fund

Old Mutual Global Investors (OMGI) has announced the promotion of Lloyd Harris as lead fund manager of its £482m (€685m) Corporate Bond Fund as of December 2015.

Harris will take over from Christine Johnson, head of Fixed Income, who will continue as deputy manager whilst focussing now more on building the OMGI fixed income team.

Harris has been with OMGI since January 2012 and has been co-manager of the fund sicne May 2015. According to OMGI, the investment process of the fund will remain unchanced.

In addition to Harris’ promotion, Tim Barker will be promoted to the newly-created position of head of Credit. Barker is currently head of Credit Research.  In his new position, he will be responsible for managing the credit experts in the Fixed Income team, as well as providing guidance on asset allocation and stock selection.
