Russell Investments hires head of Currency and Fixed Income Strategy
Seattle-headquartered Russell Investments has appointed Van Luu as head of Currency and Fixed Income Strategy.
Luu will be based in London and will report to Andrew Pease, global head of Investment Strategy, contributing to the portfolio positioning recommendations provided by the investment strategy team.
He will be in charge of formulating Russell’s views on the outlook for currency pairs, and will work with the currency management and trading business to develop currency hedging solutions used by Russell Investments’ funds and clients.
Prior to joining Russell, Luu worked at Norges Bank Investment Management as a senior analyst for investment policy and allocation strategies.
Formerly, he spent three years as a senior analyst in the global strategy team at Russell Investments.
