Schroders reshuffles pan-European small and mid cap team

Schroders has announced the appointment of Jean Roche as a fund manager in the Pan-European Small and Mid Cap team.

Roche will join the firm in January 2016 from Hargreave Hale where she is currently fund manager and analyst.

Schroders also said that its co-head of Pan-European Small Companies and fund manager Rosemary Banyard will leave the firm after she spent 17 years at Schroders.

Andy Brough will become sole head of the Pan-European Small and Mid Cap Team.

Banyard will assume her role as fund manager and co-head of the team until 31 March 2016. During this time, a comprehensive handover of responsibilities will take place.

Brough  will also be appointed as the lead manager of the Schroder UK Smaller Companies Fund supported by the team. Iain Staples, existing co-manager of the Schroder Institutional UK Smaller Companies Fund, will take on additional co-manager responsibilities for some of the segregated mandates, Schroders stated.

The Pan-European small and mid cap team is supported by 13 pan-European research analysts.
