SGSS launches fund distribution analytics solution

Societe Generale Securities Services has launched D-View, a new solution for detailed reporting and analytics in the area of fund distribution, to assist fund managers in making decisions affecting distribution strategy.

D-View works through a customiseable dashboard, through which users can obtain a consolidated view of distribution data of their funds across domiciles. Information provided includes: fund in- and outflows, which can be compared to assets under management; details of flows by country, investor type, fund type, ISIN code; top 10 distributors ranking for each fund; five year data history.

The information is collected and aggregated through SGSS’ so-called “data lake”, which uses data from transfer agents. Currently it includes data from funds domiciled in Luxembourg, Ireland and Germany. From 2019, it will include France, Italy, UK and Switzerland. It already covers some 88% of cross border funds.

The solution is available via SG Markets, the online service platform for banking and investment solutions clients.
