Skagen launches clean share classes
Skagen Funds, the independently owned Norwegian fund manager, has announced the launch of new share classes in the UK for three of its equity funds: Skagen Kon-Tiki, Skagen Global and Skagen Vekst.
The new share classes, launched on 1 January 2014, comply with regulatory changes as a result of the RDR where investment managers must make available ‘clean’ share classes.
Skagen also said that the new B-share class have a lower management fee and are open to investors who subscribe units through distributors in the UK.
Tim Gordon, Client Relations, Skagen Funds, commented: “We are delighted to have launched the new clean share classes, which underline Skagen’s commitment to the UK market. Combined with our strong investment performance and high level of client service, we believe this provides a strong proposition as we look to further develop our UK wholesale presence.”
