Edinburgh-headquartered Standard Life Investments has appointed Alex Campbell (pictured) as investment director for Infrastructure Debt.
Joining from Assured Guaranty where he worked as director for Infrastructure, he will be in charge of the sourcing, negotiation, preparation and review of infrastructure debt funding proposals.
Campbell has extensive experience as originator and underwriter of long-dated capital market debt. He also has expertise in asset classes such as utilities and real estate financings.
Marianne Froude joins the Infrastructure team as investment analyst. She will assist in the preparation of debt submissions with particular responsibility for the analysis of detailed cash flow models and financial analysis of counterparties.
Froude will also be in charge of ongoing management and monitoring of client infrastructure debt portfolios. Previously, she worked for Australia and New Zealand Banking group. Both Campbell and Froude will be based in London.
Craig MacDonald, head of Credit at Standard Life Investments said: “Working within the fixed income team, the Infrastructure Debt team will provide senior debt to core infrastructure projects in the UK and other selective jurisdictions.”
