TT International switches benchmark to MSCI Europe ex UK index

TT International, the UK based high alpha specialist that offers long only and hedge fund strategies, has switched one of its key benchmarks to the MSCI Europe ex UK index from the FTSE Europe ex UK index.

The move comes as TT already uses a number of other MSCI index products for benchmarking, including the MSCI EAFE, ACWI ex US, World ex US, Emerging Markets, Europe and Asia ex Japan indices.

Baer Pettit, managing director and head of the MSCI Index Business, said the change was “further evidence of the appeal of our indices to institutional investors offering global, regional and country specific funds.”

James Everett, partner at TT International said: “Consistency, transparency and independence are key factors for us when choosing an index provider – and MSCI delivers on all three.”
