Winton to distribute long equity strategy in France

UK based systematic manager Winton Global Investment Management has partnered French third party marketing firm MyFunds Office to distribute its Winton Long Equity Program (WLEP) towards French IFAs and life insurance platforms.

The WLEP consists of a long-only, non-levered core equity strategy seeking to maximise long-term net returns by combining the outperformance potential of active management with the cost and scalability advantages of passive management.

The strategy is benchmarked to relevant global or regional index (MSCI World, MSCI Europe and S&P 500) and its portfolio construction aims to maximise expected returns whilst meeting a tracking error target under a strict turnover budget.

Winton currently has over $30bn (€39bn) in assets under advice.
