Alix Capital has published its latest weekly updated indices of the performance of different alternative Ucits strategies, and the figures suggest many have struggled.

The data suggest that so far this year, commodities have performed worst, with global fixed income, event driven and equity market neutral strategies offering the best positive performances, although they are still in some cases, such as event driven, well off the pace seen last year.
