Vanguard, the low-cost pioneer is expanding its presence in Germany. Vanguard wants to simplify the money investment in Germany and lower the costs for German investors. The listing of numerous equity and bond ETFs on Deutsche Börse is an important milestone on the way to achieving this goal.
Vanguard manages assets of €3.98trn for more than 20m investors worldwide in numerous active and passive funds and ETFs.
Sean Hagerty, head of Vanguard Europe, commented: “German investors can now benefit from our services. Investors deserve a good price/performance ratio. In the coming months, we will further strengthen our presence in Germany and open office in the coming year. This represents the first step in our long-term commitment in Germany.”
As of today, the entire Vanguard Ucits ETF portfolio is listed on Deutsche Börse, including equity and bond ETFs as well as active factor solutions. German investors can continue to invest inexpensively in the active and passive Vanguard Ucits investment funds.
In addition, Vanguard also launched a new ETF, the Vanguard Euro STOXX 50 Ucits ETF, for easy access to the fifty largest and most liquid eurozone stocks.
