Edmond de Rothschild Asset Management (EdRAM) has appointed Axel Schade as executive director for Institutional Clients for Germany and Austria, effective 15 August 2018.
Schade reports to Selina Piening, head of Sales in Germany and Austria. In his new role, he should actively contribute to the strategic business development of Edmond de Rothschild Asset Management in Germany and Austria.
He started his career as a consultant for the private wealth business at Deutsche Bank and Dresdner Bank. From 1997 to 2007, Schade held various sales positions in the capital market business of Dresdner Bank and subsequently Landesbank Baden-Württemberg. In 2007, he moved to Asset Management and became senior sales representative for Institutional Clients at Helaba Invest.
From 2014 he worked as executive director for Institutional Clients at GAM and was responsible for numerous institutional clients, including in particular insurance companies, companies and pension funds.
