A new advisory firm, First Folium GmbH, has been launched in Vaduz, Liechtenstein at the start of February, InvestmentEurope can reveal.
The firm was founded by Antonio Andersén, who worked at Swiss Life AG in Liechtenstein formerly. There he developed the firm’s partnerships and performed due diligence on all partners. He also held responsibilities for the management of Swiss Life AG’s book of Nordic clients.
Speaking to InvestmentEurope, Andersén says that the decision of launching his own company “felt natural and logical” to him as he wanted to build on skills, knowledge and network developed in his previous roles within various family offices including Vaduz-based multi-family officer Senat AG.
Andersén explains he works with experts in the trust and in the wealth management businesses. He adds that he is also developing relationships with important geopolitical actors.
“The bulk of my work currently is tied in with project management. My company offers support for entire project management as well as segmented work, assisting family offices or small to medium companies to further develop their business plans.
“The key is to never take on a task you cannot deliver on. I am also involved in business intermediation – an area I thrive in and that I want to further explore. I also act as an advisor to ultra-high-net-worth-individuals and families on issues such as estate planing and asset protection.
“First Folium also assists individuals with regard to finding long-term asset management solutions such as fund selection,” outlines Andersén, who firmly believes in total transparency in all aspects towards clients and partners.
First Folium’s founder says that he is working quite locally for the moment – in Zurich, Liechtenstein and Vienna – but unveils plans to expand his network in the near future by covering new areas such as Monaco, Russia and Latin America.
