Loomis Sayles Investments Limited has launched two Ucits equity funds – one global growth, the other US growth focused – reflecting existing strategies already available in US mutual fund formats.
The Loomis Sayles US Growth Equity fund is a large cap growth strategy, originally launched in July 2006, and which has been available as a US mutual fund, French FCP fund and UK Oeic fund. The strategy is managed by Aziz Hamzaogullari and an analyst team that use a bottom-up approach to quality, growth and valuation.
The Loomis Sayles Global Growth Equity fund is already available as an institutional comingled account and a US mutual fund. The US fund launched in March this year. This strategy is also managed by Hamzaogullari.
“We always approach the value chain analysis for our businesses from a global perspective,” he said.
“Regardless of where a company is domiciled, the ultimate determinants of intrinsic value are key business tenets, such as competitive positioning, quality of business models, management and growth drivers. Through the disciplined and thorough implementation of our bottom-up fundamental analysis, we seek to understand the drivers, opportunities and limits of each business.”
