While revealing plans to streamline its organisation, AXA Investment Managers has announced the appointment of Hans Stoter (pictured) as global head of Fixed Income.
He succeeds John Porter, who has stepped down from his role of fixed income and structured finance chief and from the management board of the firm. Porter was with AXA IM since November 2013.
Stoter will also replace Laurence Boone, who has joined the OECD as chief economist, by taking the interim responsibility for Multi Assets Client Solutions.
Prior to joining AXA IM, Stoter has worked 19 years with NN Investment Partners (previously ING Investment Management), having departed in June 2017. There he had held the role of chief investment officer during four years and was a board member of the Dutch asset manager.
Stoter has been a portfolio manager and team manager in various fixed income asset classes.
He started his career at Philips Electronics and Nomura Bank.
