Michael Mewes, managing director at J.P. Morgan Asset Management, will be taking part in InvestmentEurope’s Pension Fund Forum in Zurich on 21 November.
Mewes (pictured) will consider how despite ongoing policy by central banks to remain accommodative, and generally robust global economic data, certain investors have seen returns come in below expectations.
Next year central banks are set to exit their generous monetary policy, but have so far only suggested this verbally. There remain spreads on many segments in non-government bonds, which may offer significant revenue opportunities.
Mewes, and Managing Director, heads the bonds team at J.P. Morgan Asset Management in Frankfurt, and manages portfolios for European and global bond strategies. Within the team, he is responsible in particular for the Euro-bond and corporate bond markets.
