French asset management incubator Iéna Venture, fully owned by La Financière de l’Echiquier, has purchased a 25% stake in the capital of Paris based Europanel Research & Alternative Asset Management (Eraam).
Eraam is specialised in absolute return funds and has recently launched the Eraam Premia Ucits strategy.
Cyril Julliard, CEO of Eraam, said that the firm has plans to speed up its development on the retail segment towards private banks, family offices and IFAs over the coming years.
Eraam was established in 1998 and manages over and has notably been a pioneer in the fund of hedge funds area.
Iéna Venture has seeded several assets managers and fintechs including Yomoni, Obafrica AM, Gemway Assets and Phileas Asset Management.
