Morgan Lewis, the global law firm, is indicating growth in the structured finance area with three new hires to boost its presence in the US, Europe and Asia.
Matthew Duncan, Julian Goodman and Paul Matthews will be joined by further hires affecting the company’s London office. The structured finance capability sits alongside residential mortgage backed securitisation, asset backed securitisation, collateralised loan obligations, derivatives, real estate financing, and commercial mortgage backed securitisations.
Reed Auerbach, Morgan Lewis structured transactions practice leader, said: “A strong bench of structured transactions lawyers based in our London office is essential to our ability to service clients in the United Kingdom, across Europe, the United States, and Asia. The addition of Matthew, Julian, and Paul—and ultimately their larger team—keeps us ahead of the game in our ability to serve our clients, particularly hedge funds, as they grow increasingly global.”
