Amundi has appointed Eric Wohleber as head of Real & Alternative Assets Sales.
Wohleber joins from BlackRock where he has been country manager and led the iShares sales activity.
He started his career in 1994 in 1994 in the marketing department of UAP Insurance (AXA Group), and joined Invesco France in 1995, where he worked for over ten years, holding a number of sales and marketing positions, mainly on the retail segment.
In 2006, he moved to Barclays Global Investors (BGI) in London to prepare the launch of BGI’s French branch and to lead the iShares ETF Sales in France. One year on, he was nominated country manager for BGI France and built a local sales team before the acquisition of BGI by BlackRock.
Amundi had €985bn of assets under management as at 31 December 2015.
