Tongai Kunorubwe, senior portfolio manager on the NN (L) Global High Dividend fund, has left the firm last June, InvestmentEurope can reveal.
The move was confirmed by a spokesperson of the Dutch asset manager who said Kunorubwe departed the company to pursue careers opportunities outside of NN Investment Partners.
Kunorubwe stayed less than a year in his role, having joined NN IP in August 2017, to work as a co-manager to Bruno Springael on the NN (L) Global High Dividend fund.
The fund had €654.5m in assets under management as of end May 2018 and invests in undervalued stocks with attractive and sustainable dividend yields. Lead portfolio manager Bruno Springael co-runs the strategy with Nicolas Simar, Manu Vandenbulck and Moudy El Khodr.
Prior to his tenure at NN IP, Kunorubwe worked as a portfolio manager and vice president at Goldman Sachs as well as a global equity analyst at Fidelity Investments. It is understood he returned to financial analysis.
