Abou-Jaoudé appointed chairman of New York Life Investment Management International
Candriam’s CEO Naïm Abou-Jaoudé (pictured) has been appointed as chairman of New York Life Investment Management International, the global investment branch of New York Life Investment Management (Nylim).
Candriam is part of New York Life Investments group since its acquisition in February 2014.
Abou-Jaoudé, who joined the executive committee of Nylim International as vice-chairman in February 2014, will continue in his longtime role as chief executive officer of Candriam in addition to his new role.
He will continue to report to Yie-Hsin Hung, who was chairman of Nylim International prior to her recent appointment to chief executive officer of Nylim.
Abou-Jaoudé will be supported by current Nylim International vice chairman Jeffrey Phlegar and newly appointed vice chairman of Nylim International, John Grady.
Nylim is a multi-boutique investment firm with $330bn (€293.1bn) in assets under management.
