Vanguard appointed Sebastian Külps as head of business development for Germany. Sebastian will be responsible for building out Vanguard’s presence in Germany and exporting its proposition as a high-value, low-cost provider of investments and services.
Sean Hagerty, head of Vanguard’s European business, commented, “Hiring Sebastian is an important milestone for Vanguard, as we look to expand our presence and footprint across Europe. Sebastian’s knowledge and experience will be key to giving investors the best chance of investment success. We’re delighted to add him to the team.”
Sebastian joins from Oddo Seydler Bank, where he was head of securities. He has over twenty years’ experience in financial services, and has held previous roles at Kepler Cheuvreux, Deutsche Bank, and J.P. Morgan.
