Deutsche Asset Management has announced the restructure of their top management team ahead of the investment business’s planned initial public offering (IPO).
Reinhard Bellet, head of Passive Investment will leave Deutsche AM by end of this year. Stefan Kreuzkamp, chief investment officer of Active Asset Management and Pierre Cherki, head of Alternative Investments will now act as co-heads of the entire investment platform of the fund company.
Active, passive and alternative investments will be integrated into a worldwide platform to prepare the company for the IPO.
Deutsche plans to go to the stock exchange by March 2019 with a minority share. This is part of re-structuring to strengthen its capital position in the market. It currently manages around €711bn of assets.
