A&G hires equity manager Gonzalo Lardiés

Private banking group A&G has hired Gonzalo Lardiés, a renowned equity fund manager in Spain.
Lardiés will manage the Luxembourg-domiciled DIP Spanish Equities fund, which will invest in Spanish equities within a flexible mandate.
The fund manager worked previously at Alpha Plus, where he managed the Alpha Plus Ibérico Acciones fund, which is among the 10 most profitable in its category according to Morningstar.
Lardiés has previously worked for Edmond de Rothschild and Metavalor.
A&G has more than doubled its turnover in recent years, surpassing to date €7bn in assets under management. The firm has a team of more than 200 professionals in its offices in Madrid, Barcelona, Santander, Seville, Valladolid, Valencia and Luxembourg.
Swiss bank EFG holds 54% stake in the company, while the remaining 46% is in the hands of the main agents and executives of the firm.
