French asset manager Comgest has announced the appointment of Arnaud Cosserat (pictured) as the groups chief investment officer.
Cosserat will continue in his role as portfolio manager, both within the European and Global equity teams. He replaces Vincent Strauss, who remains chief executive officer for the firm.
Cosserat has 27 years of experience in the industry, most recently as deputy CIO for Comgest, he joined the firm in 1996 as a portfolio manager covering European equities.
Announcing the appointment, Strauss,comments: “Arnaud’s appointment as CIO comes as a natural evolution to his previous role. His strong leadership and oversight of the investment process at Comgest is invaluable, ensuring that our team continues to refine and strengthen its research methods in order to continue delivering long term performance to our investors.”
