Fixed income specialist Pimco has appointed Adam Iqbal and Michael Davidson as portfolio manager covering currency management.
Based in London, Iqbal joins the group as executive vice president and portfolio manager specialising in currency options, he will work closely with other members of the portfolio management team covering global currency and volatility strategies.
Davidson will take on the role of senior vice president and portfolio manger focussing on local interest- and currency positions in emerging markets.
Iqbal joins Pimco from Goldman Sachs, where he worked as head of G10 Options covering the EMEA region. Davidson was previously currency trader focussing on Eastern European markets at HSBC.
