Lombard Odier Investment Managers has appointed Alexander Heidenfelder as the new head of Third Party Distribution for Germany and Austria, based in Frankfurt.
Heidenfelder, who joined on 1 June 2018, will be responsible for the distribution of investment solutions to Lombard Odier IM’s German and Austrian wholesale clients, as well as supporting the development and expansion of the client base in this segment. He will report to Martin Thommen, head of Third Party Distribution Europe at Lombard Odier IM.
He joins Lombard Odier IM from Aberdeen Asset Management, where he was senior business development manager. He has also held positions at Schroders, Fidelity and Credit Suisse.

Lombard Odier IM has recently made two other hires to the business in Europe. Marek Siwicki joined as head of Consultant Relations, on 8 May 2018, and Charles Morel joined on 1 June 2018, as head of Institutional Sales Switzerland in Geneva. Both report to Jonathan Clenshaw, head of Institutional Sales Europe.
