Australian investment firm Fidante Partners has hired Joachim Klement (pictured) as head of Investment Research.
Based in London, Klement joined the firm on 6 November 2017 and reports to Cathy Hales, global head of Fidante Partners.
He will be responsible for leading the research team and creating informative, educational publications that cover the investment company sector focusing in particular on alternatives; including hedge funds, credit and lending strategies, infrastructure, private equity, and property (commercial and alternative).
Klement succeeds Tom Skinner who remains at Fidante as head of Product Development.
14 years’ experienced Klement was most recently head of Thematic Research at Credit Suisse (UK). Before this, he was chief investment officer and partner at Zurich-based investment and consulting firm Wellershoff & Partners. He also held roles at UBS, including head of Strategic Research and Equity Strategy for the group’s wealth management arm.

Fidante is part of Australian manager Challenger Limited with A$73.5bn (€47.3bn) as at end of September 2017. It has offices in Sydney, London, Stockholm and New York.
