Paris-based Exane Asset Management has appointed Charles-Henri Nême and Eric Lauri as joint-CIOs, the firm announced.
Nême manages the Exane Ceres fund, a directional long/short equity fund, since inception in 2007 while Lauri is the portfolio manager for the firm’s team-managed long/short equity market neutral funds.
In a statement, Exane AM said their joint nomination “ensures permanent support and also aims to further develop the investment management team, without compromising the responsibilities of the individual portfolio managers with regard to their funds.”
Exane AM had €5bn of assets under management (€6.9bn including funds of funds) as 29 December 2017. The boutique runs 19 funds and is part of Exane group whose half capital is held by French financial group BNP Paribas.
