Banca March has reshuffled its management board with the promotions of Ángel Martínez as chief executive officer (CEO) and José Manuel Arcenegui as deputy director of the bank.
Both Martínez – until now head of private and commercial banking – and Arcenegui – now corporate banking director – belong to the entity’s executive board, a responsibility they will continue developing alongside their new role.
In addition to these two appointments, five more people have been promoted – all members of Banca March’s executive board – with the aim of recognising their effort and work carried out during the transformation process the entity has been developing since the mid-2016, the entity says.
Banca March has also launched an advisory board in the Basque Country aimed at consolidating itself as one of the private banking and advisory references in the Spanish region, where already has an important presence.
The new advisory board will be composed of people with outstanding professional reputation in the business, cultural and social fields including Juan March and José Luis Acea, president and CEO at Banca March respectively; Jorge Bergareche, Banca March’s director; and the presidents of Faes Farma and Tubacex, among others.
