Ashburton Investments has strengthened its multi-asset team with the appointment of Marianna Georgakopoulou as Multi-Asset strategist.
Georgakopoulou joined Ashburton Investments in November and will be looking to take advantage of opportunities in both developed and emerging markets on a cross asset basis, the company said.
As a member of the multi-asset team, Georgakopoulou will join Derry Pickford, Global Macro strategist in London, working closely with the wider team of Ashburton investment managers who include Jonathan Schiessl, head of Equities and currently chair of the Multi Asset Committee, Nick Lee, head of Portfolio Management in Jersey, and in South Africa, Mark Appleton, South Africa Strategist, and Tony Cadle, head of Portfolio Construction.
Georgakopoulou has worked in the investment industry for over 10 years.
Prior to Ashburton, she worked at Pivot Capital Management (Monaco) investing under a global macro mandate and before that London based at Tenax Capital, investing in global financials across the capital structure with a sovereign overlay.
Georgakopoulou started her career in Goldman Sachs.
