Schroders has announced the promotion of Karine Szenberg to the newly created role of head of Europe. Szenberg, who joined Schroders in 2014 as country head of France, will be responsible for Schroders business across Continental Europe and the Middle East with immediate effect.
Over the past five years Schroders’ Continental European business has been its fastest growing region and as such has significantly increased in size and importance within the group. Today, Continental Europe represents 23% of Schroders total assets under management. Schroders is continuing to invest in the region through expanding both of their investment and distribution capabilities.
John Troiano, global head of Distribution, said: “Szenberg and her team have successfully built Schroders French business across both institutional and intermediary channels, over the past three years. The prospects for our business in Continental Europe remain strong and I look forward to working with Szenberg in this expanded role.”
