The investment company Investec Asset Management has opened a branch in Frankfurt. It is the youngest continental European branch after offices in Luxembourg, Milan, Stockholm and Zurich. Investec’s headquarters are in London and Johannesburg, South Africa.
Aymeric François and Maik Fechner have been managing the German market since 2015. They should also jointly manage the new branch. The target group includes institutional investors and investment advisers. With the Frankfurt branch, the British want to gain a foothold in the profitable, but also highly competitive German market.
