Paris-headquartered asset management group La Française has appointed Maud Minuit (pictured) as head of Fixed Income to develop the firm’s capabilities on the asset class.
Some €9bn in assets are currently managed under fixed income strategies by the manager’s fixed income and cross-asset team.
In her new position, Minuit will oversee a team of managers and will be responsible for money market, fixed income, total return bond and inflation-linked asset management.
Minuit will report to Jean-Luc Hivert, who heads the fixed income and cross-asset division, forming around 45% of the group’s assets under management.
Minuit tallies 18 years’ experience in multi-asset fixed-income management. She joined from Groupama AM where she was head of Fixed Income and FX at Groupama AM since 2012 and managed among others the Euro fund. She was involved in the launch of an absolute return bond strategy.
As of 30 June 2017, La Française managed €64bn of assets under management.
