Credit Suisse Germany has expanded its management board and appointed two new members, effective 5 May 2018. Joachim Ringer and Jochen Appenzeller are newly appointed to the board, and the former board member Björn Storim will also takes over the international wealth management business. The new appointments are subject to regulatory approval.
Storim has been a member of the executive board since 2016 as chief operating officer. In the new management team, he will represent the global markets and international wealth management business – in addition to his already existing responsibility for finance, human resources, IT and as chief technology officer as well as law and communications.
Ringer will be responsible for investment banking and capital markets (IBCM) business segment as a member of the executive board. He is also head of IBCM for Germany and Austria. He has been with Credit Suisse since the beginning of 2016 and has more than 20 years of investment banking experience.
Appenzeller is appointed to the board of management for the tasks compliance, risk management, operations and internal audit. He has been with Credit Suisse since 1993 and has many years of experience in risk management and compliance.
