Andorra’s Andbank has opened an office in Sotogrande (Cádiz), from which it will offer investment solutions for HNW clients with assets on the Costa del Sol.
The goal is to attract about €50m in new business for the office over the next three years, Andbank said.
Fernando Ros, with more than 15 years of experience in asset management and private banking, will be the head of Andbank’s new office in Sotogrande.
Ros comes from Bankinter, where was director of Private Banking for the Costa del Sol area. Previously, he spent nearly ten years at Barclays Wealth and Investment Management as private banking director for Costa del Sol-Marbella-Sotogrande.
Prior to that, he worked in the asset management division of Banco Santander.
Ros holds a degree in Business Administration from San Pablo CEU University, a MBA from the EOI (School for Industrial Organization) and a postgraduate degree in Consulting and Wealth Management from Comillas Pontifical University.
“The opening of the new office in Sotogrande confirms our commitment to continue growing in Spain,” said Carlos Aso, CEO of Andbank Spain.
