Dutch asset manager Kempen Capital Management has appointed Athole Skinner as senior investment manager in the European small-cap team based in Edinburgh.
20-year experienced Skinner was formerly running his own research company, Hirta Investment Research and had been working with Alliance Trust, Scottish Widows and Schroders before.
Tommy Bryson, Kempen’s co-head of European Small-Cap team, comments: “We are delighted to welcome Athole to the team. His passion for stock picking, extensive portfolio management experience and bottom-up analytical rigour will strengthen the team considerably.”
Recently the Dutch firm also launched a private markets fund.
