Swiss private banking group Julius Baer has officially opened its ninth office in Hannover with immediate effect. Alexander Schmidt will be the head of the branch.
Schmidt has been working for Julius Baer since autumn 2016 and is responsible for taking care of wealthy private clients in the Hannover and Lower Saxony region. Before that, he was responsible at Bankhaus Hallbaum as head Private Banking.
The bank had also appointed Andreas Wagner as customer advisor for the Hannover location in the spring of 2017. He worked for J. Safra Sarasin and Credit Suisse.
The team in Hannover will be supported by Markus Merk. He has also been with Bank Julius Baer since 2017 and previously worked at Bankhaus Hallbaum as deputy head of Private Banking.
