Swiss asset manager GAM has announced a number of changes to its management board, including the appointment of Dirk Spiegel as group general counsel taking over from Scott Sullivan, who resigns and will now take on the position of group vice chairman.
Spiegel is currently general counsel for continental Europe, in his new role he will also join the group management board. Meanwhile, Sullivan will act as a senior adviser to the group management board and the board of directors, although he will not be a member of either body.

Dirk is immensely qualified to take on the role of Group General Counsel and has proven himself as a key member of GAM’s legal team since joining the company in 2013.”
In addition, GAM has also appointed Elmar Zumbuehl as group chief risk officer, and Tim Rainsford as group head of Distribution, both will join the group management board.
