Avana Invest announced the appointment of Gerhard Rosenbauer as managing director. He replaces Thomas Uhlmann, who is leaving the company. Rosenbauer will be responsible for liquid investment products such as shares and pensions.
For all illiquid assets such as real estate Roger Welz is responsible. Götz Kirchhoff, the founder, is also responsible for the management. Rosenbauer had joined Avana Invest a year ago as a portfolio manager and will continue to be actively involved in portfolio management.
For Avana, Rosenbauer will develop the investment concepts and complete the offer: in concrete terms, this is about pension schemes that meet sustainability criteria (sustainability). He will also look in to future-oriented topics such as Robo Advice for the company.
Rosenbauer has more than 30 years of professional experience and was managing director of Meag Kapitalanlagegesellschaft. In the autumn of 2013, he was appointed to the management of Inprimo Invest in Frankfurt am Main. Between 2009 and 2013, Rosenbauer was the strategist of a private asset management company, responsible for analysing and assessing the economic environment.
